Our house is now complete with an Able Brewing Disk Fine filter for the Aeropress. It is awesome. The metal filter allows more oils to pass into the cup, creating a more full bodied cup. This style of filter pairs well with lighter roasts such as city or city plus.
One disadvantage of using a metal filter is the risk of too much oil passing into the cup, which masks some of the more subtle notes.
